The school boys football team retained the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol All County 9 aside competition for the second year running. With a number of players from last years team included they proved too strong for a very gallant Kilkerly team.Solid performances from Davy,Michael,Paul,James and Eoin in defence meant that Kilkerly had very limited scoring chances. Eric and Alex in midfield combined well together and worked the ball up the field well. Up front,Thomas rifled a goal in either half and he was well supported by Cillian C. and Jake. Subtitutes Cian ,Daire,Max and Ciaran got some great scores at the end to put some distance between the two teams.Other members of the panel were Matthew and Cillian Matthews who could not make it on the day.
