Kennedy's Pumpkin Patch

1st and 2nd class boys and girls visited Kennedy's Pumpkin Patch on Monday 24th October. They had a great time picking their own pumkpin, drinking hot chocolate, getting their face painted and story time. They had a ball.
2D Shapes

Last week 1st Class were learning about 2D shapes. On Friday we went on a shape hunt around the school to see what shapes we could find. We were surprised at how many there were. Shapes are everywhere!!!
Scarecrows

Last week 1st Class learned about the scarecrow and how he protects the farmers crops. We also learned the song 'Dingle, Dangle Scarecrow.' On Friday each tabel group made their very own scarecrow. Here is what they turned out to look like!
