The School Day

The school opens to receive pupils at 8.40a.m. or arrival of the first bus. No responsibility is accepted for pupils arriving before that time. It is important that pupils develop the habit of being punctual for school. Classes will commence each day at 9.00a.m. Classes end each day at 1.40p.m., for Junior and Senior Infant pupils and 2.40p.m. for classes from 1st to 6th. All children must leave the school premises at the time of school closure.

There is a break at 11.00a.m for 10 minutes. Lunch break is from 12.30p.m. to 1.00p.m.

Parents/guardians of Junior & Senior Infants are requested to arrive at the school on time at 1.40p.m. Please stand outside the wall and the class teacher will send your child down.

Please inform the school secretary or class teacher if you authorize someone else to collect your child on your behalf. If you wish to avail of the bus service, appropriate arrangements should be made with the bus operators. Details available from our school secretary Mary McCabe.
