Code of Behaviour
Standards of Behaviour:
The school recognises that the majority of children are very positive in their behaviour and the school and teachers will reinforce good behaviour through praise and rewards. The provision of a safe and orderly school environment is a priority of this policy. The school recognises that a pupil’s aggressive, non co-operative or disruptive behaviour may reflect underlying problems that a child may be experiencing. That is not however to say that these feelings justify any such behaviour. Pupils are responsible for their own behaviour. The school may impose any or all of its sanctions listed below in dealing with misbehaviour in order to protect the child itself, other children or members of staff.
